LTU likes to promote fundraising for worthwhile causes, and this comes under the remit of our RAG Team.
 Our aim is to raise as much money for charity as possible and have loads of fun as we do it! Throughout the year we’ll hold a wide range of events and activities in order to support a number of different local and national charities.
Our biggest and most intensely fuelled week is our annual RAG week. This year it will take place on 12th-18th January 2009.
The week is fun filled with chaotic and imaginative activities to get you involved and help us raise stacks of cash! During RAG week the RAG chair and the team will be hosting many different events to get you in the mood for giving. In the past we’ve launched successful fancy dress pub crawls, hot waxing, battles of the bands and even a slave Auction… (An event which is always popular with the ladies!) We hope to see more of the same and this year we’re looking at getting people to do a sponsored abseil down one of the halls of residence!
 RAG is a great way of having heaps of fun whilst socialising and doing something incredibly rewarding and worthwhile for your community.
