Your President

Aright everyone,

As President of LTU I’m lucky enough to be in a position where I can initiate changes that will improve things for students at Leeds Trinity.

I sit on the Academic Board and on the Board of Governors, which are the two most significant committees within our institution.  It is in these committees that the big decisions are made, and anything that will affect students will either be supported or challenged depending on the repercussions of its outcome.

I need to hear from you so that I know where the problems lie.  If during your time as a student you come across things within Leeds Trinity that upset you or leave you frustrated, then inform us so that we can campaign to change and improve things.  Use us as much as you can, because that is the reason we are here.

Hey,

I am Daniel known to most as Kp. Originally from Oldham I came to Leeds Trinity three years ago to study Sports Development & PE. An area I hope to go to work in following my term in office.

As Vice President of LTU I am the man responsible for all the Student Activities amongst other things. I’m the man responsible for the nights on and off campus as well as being first contact for LTU’s many sports teams.

Throughout the year I’ll be working with our RAG officer to bring you a variety of events all in aid of a good cause not to mention RAG Week aka Re-Fresher’s week in January.

Throughout the coming year I’ll be sitting on the Leeds Universities and Colleges Crime Prevention Partnership (LUCCRP for short) to keep you all safe and sound throughout your time in Leeds.

If you have any comments / queries please do voice them after all we are YOUR Union!! We’re always looking for new and innovative ideas, and who knows your idea might just turn into a real life event!!
