LTU is very proud at the development and growth of our societies in recent years as we currently have 12 active societies who regularly socialise, network, meet up and pursue activities and interests which the students love and are passionate about. We currently offer the following societies for students to join and be members of;
- Trinity Times ( Student Newspaper)
- Body & Life ( Student Magazine)
- TasLang ( LTU’S Sign language society)
- Referee society ( LTU offers support for students wanting to train as referees)
- Cheerleaders
- Islamic Society
- Be Society ( Business Enterprise Society)
- Psychology Society
- Creative Writing Society
- Dance Society
- BHBS ( Badger hat and bowler hat society-social network collective)
- Debating Society
LTU is willing to support any group of students or individuals who would like to start their own society. It is a simple process- all you have to do is come up with ten student names who will be your members, get them to pay a membership fee to help you run the society, write a constitution about your society, which you then submit to the Students’ Union for it to be ratified by the Union Council. Once the vote is passed, LTU will then give you a start up budget and will offer you support in the running and promotion of the society.
For further details regarding all of our societies or information on how to set one up please contact Daniel Capewell LTU Vice President at d.capewell@leedstrinity.ac.uk |
